Wakatipu Music Festival 2021
Created in place of the annual Michael Hill International Violin Competition.
The Wakatipu Music Festival was created to celebrate all the amazing classical artists in NZ, with a four day festival produced by a number of the Wakatipu basins best.
TomTom came on board as the Technical Partner and sponsor, along with participating in the mentor programme. Providing two ‘apprentices’ the chance to learn the ropes in a paid position across the festivals production.
Along with providing the lighting and video. Our main role was designing and executing the global live stream, showcasing the full festival programme.
Using our bespoke streaming setup and a four camera chain, we broadcasted live across several platforms including; Radio NZ, Michael Hill & The Violin Channels social platforms. Reaching a total audience of nearly 33 thousand viewers across the festival.
