TomTom Queenstown AV Productions Royalburn projection - 4

Technology Meets Sustainability

Destination Queenstown, a pinnacle organisation fostering Queenstown's bustling tourism industry, held its very own showcase district. Putting the spotlight on local businesses, this event focused on the social, cultural, economic and environmental values this town can attribute to tourism. Royalburn hosted this stretch of the programme, where there was a fusion of technology and sustainability. A farm tour commenced, revealing the spectacular views of the place we call home, delectably accompanied with local food caterers, and elegant shelter provided by Gather & Gold Tipis.

Golden hour simply enhanced the location, but we needed to retain the energy and essence of Royalburn towards the end of the day. Bring on the TomTom touch; we thought about how we can incorporate intricate video projection into this natural landscape without obstructing the immense beauty. With our Christie 14k projectors, we brought hay bales to life by casting vivid and crystal clear images of butterflies and sunflowers onto the surface. Using our Resolume software, we were able to create perfectly attractive 3D maps onto an irregular and coarse surface. Along with our LED lights tastefully placed around the premises to allow guests to graze about and experience the full span of the venue at night, Royalburn proved to be a perfect canvas.

Activate your brand while also exhibiting connection to place, in a sustainable way by leveraging off nature. We can bring your ideas to life!
