If there's one thing that can bring a community together, it's a good old-fashioned debate. And let me tell you, the ASB Great Debate did just that.
Not to get political, but I don't think anyone would debate that this was the best town-hall style debate that we've had all year.
Queenstown Business Chamber of Commerce hosted the debate and brought with them a fantastic, lively crowd. The atmosphere was electric, with people from all over Queenstown coming together to witness democracy in action.
One of the standout features of this year's debate was the use of 3D banners, designed specifically for the occasion. Utilising the cutting-edge VuePix DB2 2.6mm LED Screen, the organisers created a visually stunning backdrop that added a unique touch to the event. The vibrant colours and sharp imagery brought the stage to life, capturing the attention of the audience and setting the tone for a dynamic debate.
To ensure that the debate reached a wider audience, it was also live-streamed on the Queenstown Chamber of Commerce's YouTube channel. This decision turned out to be a good one, as the stream gained over 34K views. News such as TV1 and Three also picked up the live stream, further amplifying the reach and impact of the event.
