Over three thrilling days and on five electrifying stages, we unleashed the ultimate New Year's festival on the South Island - Rhythm and Alps 2022.


Set amidst the landscapes of the Cardrona Valley, just outside of Wanaka, thousands of eager music enthusiasts converged to witness performances by KORA, Marlon Williams, Dope Lemon, and many other talented artists in the massive lineup.

One of the highlights of the Alpine Arena stage was the use of our cutting-edge VDO Sceptron strips, positioned across the ceiling and entwined within the artists’ floor packages. Creating intricate wave effects, they rippled and morphed with each electrifying performance, immersing the audience in a visually spectacular experience over the entire weekend.

For the Sonarchy stage we used a combination of our 14K Christie projectors and cutting-edge lighting fixtures and unfolded a mesmerising visual experience. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the stage bloomed into a tapestry of light and visuals, illuminating the darkness all night long.

With production on other stages such as the Camp stage, the Fridge, and the Log Cabin, the whole festival was pumping out light, sound and action.

Collaborating closely with the R&A team, we were able to showcase our designs, creativity, and equipment, which we had been working on over the past year. The festival provided us with a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate our creativity and innovation within the industry.

The carefully curated lineup across multiple stages catered to diverse musical tastes, ensuring that every festival-goer found something to enjoy. The dedication and meticulous planning from both our team and the R&A team were apparent, creating an unforgettable experience for all.
